LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A motorcyclist died after a crash in North Las Vegas Wednesday afternoon, police say.

North Las Vegas police said around 2:30 p.m. a motorcyclist crashed with a Dodge Caravan at Losee Road and Centennial Parkway.

When officers arrived, they found the motorcyclist unconscious.

The motorcyclist died despite medical personnel providing all necessary aid.

Officials report as the rider was traveling southbound on Losee Road the Caravan made a left turn which positioned the vehicle in the path of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist collided with the passenger side of the Caravan.

The driver of the vehicle will face charges for vehicular manslaughter and failure to yield while making a left turn.

The Clark County Coroner’s office will release the identity of the rider.
