LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Two men have been charged in the disappearance of a Utah teen who may have been headed to Las Vegas.
15-year-old Alisa Petrov reportedly left school on April 21 and was last seen boarding a UTA train.
The South Jordan Police Department identified the two men as Matthew Nicholas Menard from Miami, Florida, and William Taylor Glines from Texas City, Texas.
Police said Menard faces charges of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, enticement of a minor, and criminal solicitation.
Glines faces aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, attempted aggravated exploitation of a minor and sexual exploitation of a minor, enticement of a minor, and criminal solicitation.
Police say the two men allegedly spoke with Petrov before she left school. Police say they will continue to work with law enforcement partners in Florida and Texas for further action.
Police say Petrov is trying to meet up with people she met online using multiple social media platforms and chats. She is listed as a runaway juvenile who is endangered.
