LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Five people have been displaced after a fire broke out at a home in south Las Vegas Monday night.
Multiple fire crews responded to a house near Blue Diamond Road and Decatur Boulevard shortly after 11:45 p.m., according to the Clark County Fire Department. Heavy smoke was billowing out of the garage door.
Firefighters made their way inside the home to extinguish the fire quickly, a fire chief said. No injuries were reported; however, the residents are not able to stay at the home at this time.
The cause is under investigation, the chief said. Damages are estimated between 50 and 100 thousand dollars.
