LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – A motorcyclist has died after crashing into a streetlight pole Wednesday morning in the northeast valley.
The crash happened just after 4 a.m. near Walnut Road approaching Lazy Skies Lane just south of Craig Road. Police said the motorcyclist was ejected before crashing into the pole.
Detectives investigating believe the motorcycle veered right and struck a curb, leading to a collision with the street pole. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
The motorcyclist’s death marks the 69th traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction for the year 2025.
