LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Police are working to reunite a Utah teen with her parents after she went missing in late April.

The South Jordan Police Department said 15-year-old Alisa Petrov voluntarily made contact with Colorado Springs Police and identified herself.

Police say she is in good health and safe with Colorado law enforcement. Her parents have been notified and are working with police to get her home.

Petrov was last seen leaving for school on Monday, April 21. South Jordan police said she was last seen at a gas station and then boarded a UTA train.

Police believed she was trying to meet with people she knew online.

Two men were arrested in connection to her disappearance: Mathew Nicholas Menard and William Taylor Glines, who both face child sexual exploitation charges. They are believed to have spoken with Petrov before she left for school.
