LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – The search goes on for the suspects in a shooting that left one person dead and sent another to the hospital in critical condition.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say it happened around 6:15 on Friday evening near Maryland Parkway and E. Tropicana Avenue.
Metro says the victims were in the garage of a home on Greene Lane when two people robbed them at gunpoint and took off running. Police say the victims gave chase and caught up with them on Greene Lane. Officers say a fight started and shots were fired. Both victims were hit.
When police arrived the suspects were gone, one person was dead, and a second was critically injured. The coroner has not yet released the identity of the deceased victim.
