LAS VEGAS — The suspect of a deadly shooting fled the scene after an argument in southeast Las Vegas, police said.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received a call just after 2:16 p.m. Wednesday reporting a shooting in the 3600 block of Indios Avenue, near Desert Inn and Boulder Highway.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found one man suffering from a gunshot wound in the middle of the street. He was transported to Sunrise Hospital where he later died.

According to homicide detectives, the victim is a white male. He was in an argument with the suspect about an unknown person. When the victim was walking away, the suspect shot him.

Police say the suspect fled northbound. He is currently outstanding. Police say he was last seen where dark-colored clothing.

Police say the shooting was an isolated incident.
