LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas Metro Police released new video of a suspect vehicle in a deadly west valley hit-and-run.
Metro Police said the crash happened Friday, June 13 at 9:57 p.m. at Desert Inn Road and Grand Canyon Drive.
Police said a vehicle drove eastbound on Desert Inn and struck a woman, later identified as 81-year-old Margaret Brown, crossing Grand Canyon.
The vehicle was identified as a dark 2016 to 1029 Nissan Sentra. Police say the driver immediately fled the scene.

Medical would arrive and transport the Brown to UMC’s Trauma Center. She died four days later.
Brown’s death marks the 78th traffic-related fatality in LVMPD’s jurisdiction for the year 2025. The collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section.
