LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Pahrump Justice of the Peace Michele Fiore was granted a temporary stay of her suspension.

The former Las Vegas city councilwoman was found guilty of several counts of wire fraud earlier this year.

Prosecutors said she used donations for a police memorial on personal expenses. President Donald Trump pardoned her, but her suspension as a justice of the peace continued.

She appealed to the Nevada Supreme Court, which granted her a temporary stay of that suspension.

The Nevada Commission on Judicial Discipline has 28 days to respond.
