LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A woman is in critical condition, and a driver is suspected of driving under the influence after a crash in south Las Vegas on Sunday night.

The collision occurred just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday near the intersection of East Warm Springs Road and Amigo Street.

According to investigators, the two involved vehicles, both Jeeps, were traveling on Warm Springs Road in opposite directions. One turned left, and the vehicles collided.

A 61-year-old woman, a passenger in one of the vehicles, was critically injured. She was taken to a local hospital. Both drivers remained at the scene.

One of the drivers, identified as Michelle Lane, 34, of Las Vegas, is suspected of driving while being impaired.

Court records indicate she is being held without bail in the Clark County Detention Center, facing a charge of driving under the influence resulting in serious bodily harm. She is scheduled to make an initial court appearance at 1:30 p.m. Monday.
