LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A fire reported Saturday morning at a northeast Las Vegas apartment displaced two people and caused an estimated $50,000 in damage, according to the Clark County Fire Department.

According to a news release from the Clark County Fire Department, a fire was reported just before 9 a.m. Saturday at an apartment at 6948 Dunsbach Way in northeast Las Vegas.

When firefighters arrived, they found smoke coming from a unit on the second floor of the complex. They searched the building for people and began extinguishing the fire, which was put out within 10 minutes, officials said.

Damage to the property was estimated at $50,000. No injuries were reported. Two people were displaced, and investigators deemed the cause unintentional.
