LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Celine Dion remains a darling among Las Vegas visitors and residents alike.
On this day in 2015, both welcomed her back as she resumed her “Celine” residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Dion took time away from the show to take care of her husband.
She came back to the stage with new theatrical and musical elements, as well as a fresh feel. Sadly, she had to put her residency on hold when her husband passed in 2016.
She returned a month later to sold-out crowds and rave reviews. By the time it closed in June 2019, more than two million fans had seen the show.
