Southern Nevada Health District encouraging lead testing for children

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Seasonal vaccines are now available at Southern Nevada Health District clinics.

The health district warns there are some restrictions in place for updated COVID-19 vaccines.

Flu and RSV vaccines are available by appointment at all of the health district immunization clinics. The district says most health insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, should cover the shots.

Some with no insurance may be eligible for free shots.

SNHD said updated COVID-19 vaccines are available for patients five years and older with private insurance, and adults with Medicaid.

Eligibility may change based on the results of a CDC meeting later this month.
