LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metropolitan police released its latest numbers for a “DUI Blitz” over the weekend.
According to a social media post, LVMPD officers from the Northeast Area Command, Southeast Area Command, Traffic, and 911 Communications participated. Metro also thanked its phlebotomist, a medical professional, for drawing blood and conducting tests.
Saturday, police said 199 citations were issued, with 16 DUI arrests and four other arrests.
“Remember, there are too many safe options to drive impaired,” police officials said.
