LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Police are searching for a man who allegedly stole a cash register from a valley restaurant in North Las Vegas.

According to North Las Vegas Police Department officials, the man took the register from the Teriyaki Madness location in the 700 block of West Craig Road, near the intersection of Craig Road and Revere Street.

Police said the suspect, described as wearing all black and a face mask, entered the restaurant while all the employees were in the back of the business.

Security camera video from the incident, dated Sept. 21, just before 7:30 p.m., shows a dark-clad figure walking through the empty location and grabbing the register, causing items surrounding it to flutter to the floor.

Restaurant officials said this was the first time a Teriyaki Madness store had been targeted during business hours. They estimated about $650 was stolen.
