LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A Las Vegas middle school has been placed on lockdown after a social media threat, Clark County School District officials say.
“Our top priority is to ensure your child is safe at school and to keep you informed of important matters happening within our school community,” said Principal Deborah Thaggard.
According to school officials, Roy W. Martin Middle School received a social media threat. The Clark County School District Police is at the scene and investigating.
Officials say an update will be provided once the lockdown has been lifted.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to comply with police orders to keep students and staff safe,” school officials said.
