LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro Police responded Saturday morning to investigate a deadly crash in northeast Las Vegas.
The crash happened just before 10:30 a.m. on East Washington Avenue and North Bruce Street.
According to Metro, a pickup truck was turning left onto Bruce Street when a motorcycle sped through a red light, colliding with the truck.
The motorcyclist was thrown from his bike and ended up in the road. Metro Police reported that the motorcyclist, a 38-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Law enforcement also confirmed the driver of the pickup truck cooperated with the investigation and did not show signs of impairment.
This crash marked the 121st traffic-related death for 2025 in LVMPD’s jurisdiction.
