LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Iconic Las Vegas performers Penn & Teller are celebrating a historic milestone Thursday.
West Viking Road will now forever be known as Penn & Teller Court. The street was renamed after the legendary magic duo.
The renaming marks the duo’s 25th anniversary at the Rio and their 50th anniversary performing together on stage. FOX5 caught up with the performers about what this means for performers for longevity in Vegas.
“Well, certainly, having run this long, it shows that it’s a place that a residency doesn’t need to mean a weekend like it’s come to mean,” the duo said. “It can actually mean making your home in Las Vegas.”
Penn & Teller Court is at the corner of South Valley View and the former West Viking Road by the Rio Hotel and Resort.
