LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro police are investigating a shooting in the central valley.
LVMPD responded to reports of a shooting around 3:30 a.m. in the 2300 block of Pardee Place near Maryland Parkway and Sahara Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found one person who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest. They were taken to the hospital with significant injuries.
Metro detectives are on scene. This is an active investigation. Police say no arrest has been made at this time, and they are looking for the suspect.
Police said Pardee north of Sahara will be closed for several hours.
