LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A pedestrian was struck by a car in east Las Vegas and was transported to the hospital, Las Vegas police say.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the crash happened at 6:45 p.m. at Nellis Boulevard and Desert Inn Road Tuesday night. A driver was traveling southbound on Nellis when they struck a man crossing the street outside a crosswalk.
Police said the driver remained on scene and impairment is not suspected. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital, and police did not confirm his condition. Officials also did not share the driver’s condition.
Police said Nellis Boulevard is closed in both directions from Desert Inn Road and Mount Rushmore Parkway.
