LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Southern Nevada Health District has confirmed a Las Vegas traveler who had measles put three airports in different states at risk.
On the morning of Oct. 13, officials report that a single unvaccinated traveler spent time in Terminal 3 at Harry Reid International Airport.
Health officials report the outbreak was exposed at airports in Las Vegas, Seattle, and Anchorage. The confirmed case is reportedly the first in Clark County since 2018.
Health officials are now emphasizing the need for immediate isolation protocols.
