New pedestrian crossing construction begins in Las Vegas Chinatown

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Clark County has begun construction on a new pedestrian crossing on Spring Mountain Road near Arville Street.

The crossing will connect Shanghai Plaza and Chinatown Plaza in one of the busier areas in the Chinatown corridor.

The project is part of an improvement effort to enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility in the area.

Drivers should expect lane restrictions and delays as crews work. The project is expected to be completed by mid-December.
