LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 70-year-old man has died from his injuries after an east valley crash Tuesday morning.
Las Vegas Metro Police responded to the crash at Charleston and Lamb around 4:30 a.m. Police add that the pedestrian was crossing with a push cart at Charleston, against a “Don’t Walk” signal but inside a crosswalk when he was hit by a Honda.
The pedestrian was transported to a UMC with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
The driver of the Honda remained at the scene and was not impaired, police say.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
The pedestrian’s death marked the 142nd traffic-related fatality in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s jurisdiction for 2025.
