Workers begin pouring concrete for lower concourse of Athletics’ ballpark

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Construction crews began pouring concrete for the first elevated level of the Oakland Athletics’ new ballpark, marking what the team called a major milestone in the project.

The concrete pour forms the floor for the lower concourse, which will house the first level of seats, lower concourse suites and clubs positioned behind home plate and along the baselines.

The ballpark is being built on the site where the Tropicana Hotel once stood. The Athletics are scheduled to begin playing in Las Vegas in 2028.

The team is offering priority access to purchase 2028 season tickets for the new ballpark.
