LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Court documents obtained by FOX5 confirm a Clark County Grand Jury has indicted three people in connection with an explosion that happened at Piero’s Italian Cuisine near the Las Vegas Strip.

Court documents say John Navarro, Sarah Lianne Hernandez, and Phillip Daniel Munoz Gonzalez were indicted for the alleged crimes committed on or around Nov. 13.

According to police, detectives report that a small explosion happened at Piero’s near Convention Center Drive.

The three individuals listed are facing 6 felony counts, including manufacturing an explosive device, first-degree arson, use of explosives to damage or destroy property, conspiring to commit first-degree arson, carrying a concealed explosive substance or firearm, and possession of a controlled substance.

The explosion happened at Piero’s around 2 a.m., according to police. Two men, reportedly dressed in black, one riding a scooter, arrived at the restaurant. One placed what police described as an “improvised explosive device” near the restaurant.

LVMPD initially identified one of the two suspects caught on surveillance video. John Navarro, 35, was arrested on Nov. 14, in connection with the alleged arson.
