LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — One person is in the hospital after a shooting in the east valley Wednesday morning.
According to Las Vegas Metro Police, the shooting occurred in the 5800 block of East Charleston Avenue around 2:14 a.m. Arriving officers located on person suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Details about a suspect were not immediately available.
An investigation into the shooting is ongoing. The public is advised to avoid the area.
