LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A motorcyclist is in the hospital after a crash in the southwest valley Wednesday morning.
Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of a crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle around 4:25 a.m. in the area of Blue Diamond and Jones. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Traffic in the area is shut down at the intersection in all directions. Police say this is expected to impact morning traffic flow.
The public is advised to avoid the area.
