LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A third victim has died weeks after a 12-car crash killed two others in the northwest valley last month.
The Clark County Coroner has identified the victim as 25-year-old Vanessa Lainez Vasquez. She was a passenger in a Nissan Altima that caught fire during the crash.
This victim’s death comes after the Clark County Coroner identified the two other victims as Adilene Duran-Ricon and Edward Garcia.
Police identified the suspect in the crash as 19-year-old Jose Gutierrez, who is currently facing two charges of open murder and one count of attempted murder.
Previously, District Attorney Steve Wolfson has said his office believes that crash was “intentional.” Gutierrez was dating Duran-Ricon, who was 11 weeks pregnant, at the time of the crash.
Gutierrez is due back in court on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
