LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — E-scooters look fun, and they’re certainly convenient, but a dramatic spike in crashes has many questioning whether they’re safe – especially for children.
Studies show injuries from e-scooter accidents have literally tripled in just the past few years, with young people getting hurt most often.
Which begs the question, how bad is the problem in the Las Vegas Valley? And what are local leaders doing to ensure our kids’ safety?
