CARSON CITY (FOX5) — Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo says his fuel resiliency committee has been approved.

The governor proposed the committee earlier this year. Its goal is to find ways to strengthen Nevada’s fuel supply chain.

The governor says Nevada relies heavily on out-of-state fuel, especially from California. That leaves our state vulnerable to regional and national disruptions.

Governor Lombardo will announce appointments to the committee in the coming weeks.
