LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Police say they located the car involved in a hit-and-run that left a new father in critical condition.

Police say the hit-and-run happened just after 5 p.m. at Lake Mead Boulevard and Marion Drive Monday. Police said the car was a white 2022 Kia Sportage.

FOX5 learned that Matias Lagarreta rode his motorcycle down Lake Mead when he was hit. His wife, Ashley, said he opted to use his motorcycle to run errands. She said the two were supposed to go together.
