LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 4.9 magnitude earthquake occurred at 5:56 p.m. on Monday, January 19th, near the Coachella Valley in Indio, California. There have been several aftershocks in the area, which can continue over the next week.
The U.S. Geological Survey reports detail that people in the area felt the impact of the quake from a light to moderate level.
