LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Galleria at Sunset has officially rebranded to “Mershops”.
The announcement of the rebrand came in May 2025, as part of a larger transformation by Mershops, a real estate platform launched by the family behind the Shoe Palace retail chain.
The Henderson mall is one of five flagship properties across California and Nevada being rebranded by the Mersho family.
Mershops represents the rebranding of Bridge Group Investments and focuses on transforming underperforming retail, hospitality and workplace destinations.
The Galleria at Sunset is one of two properties undergoing full-scale transformations, along with Mershops North County in Escondido, California.
George Mersho, non-executive board member, said the company is redefining what malls and destination properties can be through an approach that combines consistency, hospitality and thoughtful design.
“We’re building community-driven spaces that blend commerce with experience,” said Ralph Mersho, non-executive board member. “These thoughtfully designed environments encourage people to connect, linger, and return.”
The Mershops portfolio also includes Antelope Valley Mall in Palmdale, California; The Shops at Montebello in Montebello, California; and Northridge Mall in Salinas, California.
