LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro Police are putting their drone force to work.
The department’s eyes in the sky helped find a missing 8-year-old boy in the southeast valley. Metro Police shared video online of officers finding the missing boy near Twain and Sandhill.
Police say the child had been missing for about an hour. Family members and patrol officers were searching the area.
The drone spotted the boy in the sky and guided officers to his location. Police say he was safely reunited with his parents.
