LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro Police are investigating a west valley collision that left one person hospitalized.

According to LVMPD, the crash happened around 1 p.m. on Rampart and Lake Mead Boulevards.

Police say one of the drivers may have suffered a medical episode. One person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Impairment is not suspected at this time, officials say.

Officials say all northbound lanes on Rampart have temporarily closed.

Drivers are asked to use alternate routes at this time.
