LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Nevada Highway Patrol has identified the motorcyclist who died in a collision over the weekend.
According to NHP, the crash happened Saturday, January 31, around 3:30 p.m. at mile marker 15 on southbound State Route 160 in Clark County.

Preliminary details indicated the driver of a Ford Truck Ranger lost control of the vehicle and traveled to the shoulder, which caused the driver to strike the rider on a Harley Davidson.
The rider of the motorcycle was identified as Ronald Shane Rudy, 44, of Las Vegas. Officials say he died on the scene.
NHP report Rudy was traveling with a passenger who was life-flighted by Mercy Air to a local area hospital with injuries sustained in the crash.
