LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Police say two people are in critical condition after a shooting east of the Las Vegas Strip Thursday evening.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened just after 5 p.m in the 900 block of Sierra Vista Drive, near University Center Drive and East Desert Inn Road.
Police said arriving officers found two people with gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital and were listed with critical injuries.
Police say detectives are taking over the investigation, and no one has been taken into custody.
