LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A major attraction is open once again.

The National Park Service has reopened the Salt Creek Boardwalk in Death Valley National Park after flash flooding in 2022. The boardwalk offers visitors a chance to see the rare pupfish that live in Salt Creek.

NPS also rebuilt a parking lot and bathrooms that were destroyed.

The new boardwalk and facilities have been designed to withstand future flood waters.
