LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro Police and the Clark County School District Police Department are investigating a robbery incident that turned into a pursuit Tuesday, according to sources.
Sources confirm with FOX5 that the police pursuit took place in North Las Vegas.
FOX5 crews on scene at Jerry’s Nugget Casino report an active police presence in the area.
J.D. Smith Middle School officials say the school went on a lockdown around 9:30 a.m. for a few minutes. The lockdown has been lifted for about an hour.
Police are expected to provide more details during a media briefing.
