LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A woman was arrested after abandoning her dog at Harry Reid International Airport, according to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.

On Feb. 2, around 11:30 p.m., a woman was caught on surveillance attempting to check in at the JetBlue ticket counter.

Police say the woman failed to complete the required paperwork to fly with the animal as a service dog, and airline staff denied her a boarding pass. Rather than take the dog with her, she left the animal at the ticket counter and proceeded to her gate.
