LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 22-year-old man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a body found in a west valley parking lot this past weekend.

Justin Ringer is facing charges of open murder with a deadly weapon in connection with the death of a man found in the 2000 block of North Buffalo Drive around 5:46 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14.

Officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department say they found the man lying in a parking lot, suffering from an unknown type of puncture wound before he died at the scene.

Investigators later determined that the victim had been in the area with two other males, who were later seen fleeing before police arrived.

Ringer has been booked into the Clark County Detention Center on murder charges. He is due before a judge on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
