PAHRUMP, Nev. (FOX5) — A Pahrump man is facing multiple felony charges after authorities say he fired several shotgun rounds at a Pahrump brothel last week, then kicked a deputy while in custody.

Patrick Graham was arrested at the scene on Feb. 28 and booked into Nye County Detention Center, according to an arrest report obtained by FOX5.

Shooting at Sheri’s Ranch

Nye County deputies responded to reports of a person with a gun outside Sheri’s Ranch Brothel in Pahrump around 4:29 p.m. Callers described an elderly white male walking the property with a shotgun, according to the report.

Before deputies arrived, Graham allegedly fired two rounds into the north gate of the property, reloaded, and attempted to breach the gate before firing another round, according to the documents. He then reportedly walked to the bar entrance on the west side of the building and fired an additional round into the structure.

Upon arrival, deputies say they saw Graham walking toward the front of the building with a black shotgun in his hands. The report notes that deputies repeatedly commanded Graham to drop the weapon and get on the ground. When Graham complied, he was taken into custody.

Detectives processed the scene and recovered Graham’s shotgun along with numerous shell casings, according to the documents.

Witness accounts

One witness told deputies at the scene that they believed Graham was going to shoot them after he pointed the shotgun at them.

Another witness said Graham had contacted them earlier that day, saying he had been “activated” by Trump and that “something bad was going to happen.” The witness said Graham had been waiting for someone he believed was being held inside the brothel against her will, according to the documents.

Detention center assault

The following day, Graham received an additional charge after kicking a deputy during what police describe as a “faked” medical emergency at the Nye County Detention Center.

The deputy responded to Graham’s cell around 8:30 a.m. on March 1, after a report of a possible medical emergency, the documents note. The deputy then found Graham lying on his back on the floor, unresponsive to verbal commands.

According to the report, the deputy notified medical staff and rubbed Graham’s sternum to determine responsiveness. Graham reportedly became immediately responsive again and kicked the deputy in the right leg in response.

Investigators reviewed surveillance footage of Graham’s cell after the incident and observed the man pressing his cell’s call button then slowly falling to the floor and saying he was “going to pass out.”

After being hit with another charge of Battery by a Prisoner, Graham reportedly told deputies the kick was a reaction spurred by his former military training.

Overall, Graham is facing felony charges of assault with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm within a structure, as well as a misdemeanor of discharging a firearm where someone might be endangered. Following the inside the detention center, he is also facing a felony charge of battery by a prisoner.
