NYE COUNTY (FOX5) — The Nevada Highway Patrol, a division of the Nevada State Police, is investigating a fatal crash on northbound State Route (SR) 160 at mile marker 2, just south of Manse Road in Nye County, Nevada.
At approximately 6:37 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026, troopers responded to reports of a multi-vehicle crash at this location. The collision involved three vehicles: a sport utility vehicle (SUV), a hatchback, and a passenger sedan.
Preliminary information indicates that:
- The adult female driver of the hatchback has been pronounced deceased at the scene.
- The adult male driver of the SUV has also been pronounced deceased at the scene.
- The driver of the passenger sedan was not injured and was not transported for medical treatment.
The identities of the deceased will be released by the Nye County Coroner’s Office after next of kin notifications have been made.
