NORTH LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A routine traffic stop led to the largest narcotics seizure from a traffic stop in North Las Vegas Police Department history, authorities announced.
During the stop, officers requested assistance from K-9 Bolt, who was deployed to conduct an exterior sniff of the vehicle.
Bolt alerted to the presence of narcotics, prompting officers to search the car.

Inside the trunk, officers discovered a concealed stash of illegal drugs — more than 100 pounds of methamphetamine.
Police officials hailed the seizure as a significant blow to drug trafficking in the region and praised the work of the responding officers and K-9 Bolt.
