LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle.
Officers responded just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday to the crash near the intersection of South Jones Boulevard and West Oakey Boulevard, where a motorcycle rider was hit by another vehicle.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities say. Detectives have been called in and will take over the investigation.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area until the crash scene is cleared.
