LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas Metro Police have arrested two people in connection with a deadly shooting from last summer.

LVMPD detectives have identified James Taylor, 40, and Prince Taylor, 36, as the suspects in the deadly shooting that took place at an apartment complex located at the 500 block of Royal Crest Circle near Twain Avenue and University Center Drive.

Officers responded to the area following reports of gunfire. A man was found inside an apartment suffering from gunshot wounds. Police say the apartment window was broken and the front door was open.

Last summer, the Clark County coroner identified the victim as Mykel Brown, 40.

James and Prince were arrested on April 14, nearly a year later. Both face open murder with a deadly weapon.
