LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — A 23-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stabbing another man following an argument, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The incident happened on Thursday, May 21, around 11:31 p.m. in the 6300 block of Peach Orchard Road near Sahara Avenue and Tree Line Drive.
LVMPD arrested Eder Castrejon after witnesses told police he stabbed another man outside. Police then located the victim, who was in the backyard of the residence, suffering from stab wounds.
The pair were arguing when Eder took out a knife and stabbed the victim, said LVMPD detectives.
Police say the victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Eder was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and faces an open murder with a deadly weapon charge.
The Clark County Coroners office is expected to identify the victim.
