LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting that has left at least one injured Monday morning.
Around 4:02 a.m., officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to reports of a shooting in the 4100 block of South Maryland Parkway, near Flamingo Road.

A victim suffering from gunshot wounds was located at the scene, but their current condition remains unclear. Police add that a possible suspect has been detained.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and evolving rapidly. The public is advised to avoid the area, or expect delays.
Homicide detectives have responded to the scene, and LVMPD Homicide Lieutenant Robert Price is expected to share more information in a press briefing. However, it is not clear when the briefing may be.
