LAS VEGAS (FOX5) — The Vegas Golden Knights won Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Knights visited the Hurricanes Tuesday evening. The first period saw goals from both sides with VGK’s Shea Theodore and Hurricanes Nikolaj Ehlers.
Second period ended in a tie. Ivan Barbashev and William Karlsson scored. Hurricanes Jordan Staal made it 3-3.
The third period, the score ended 5-4 thanks to Tomas Hertl.
