Signature cure deadline Monday
The signature cure deadline is Monday, June 15. Nevada provides voters with the ability to resolve or cure issues with a signature on the mail ballot return envelope. If a signature is missing or does not match the signature on file, a voter may correct the issue.
Voters who receive notification that they need to cure their signature can go to Cure.NV.gov to complete the signature curing process or contact their local county election official directly.
The Secretary of State’s Office provides a public list on ballot statuses to help identify voters who may need to cure their signature. Voters can visit Vivid.NV.gov, scroll down to the “Voter List & Ballot Status Reports” and download the file of the county. If a ballot needs to be cured, it will be flagged as “Signature Cure Needed” in the Ballot Status column.
“County clerks and election staff across Nevada have been working tirelessly to process and tabulate ballots while maintaining the accuracy and security that voters expect,” said Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar. “As ballots continue to arrive by mail and voters complete the signature cure process, election officials remain focused on ensuring every eligible ballot is verified and counted. We are grateful for their dedication and encourage any voter who has been notified that they need to cure their signature to do so before the June 15 deadline.”
Canvass scheduled for June 18
Unofficial election results will continue to be updated on Results.NV.gov. Election results and turnout are unofficial until the canvass is complete.
The canvass of the June Primary must happen on or before the 10th day following the Primary Election, on June 18. June 19 is a state holiday. The Board of County Commissioners, Board of Supervisors and City Councils in each county canvass or certify the returns from all precincts and districts.
